One Year in Business: From W23 to SEEN by W23
One year in business. Man, what a year it’s been.
First and foremost, I give God all the glory. When I look back at where this started and everything that has happened over the past year, I have so much to be thankful for.
It started with clothing. It was always about people.
What started as W23, a clothing brand with a message, has grown into something I never could have fully imagined.
The doors that have opened. The people I’ve met. The conversations I’ve had. The places I’ve been invited into. The relationships built along the way. Those things have meant more to me than I can put into words.
A shirt can carry a message. But the moments when someone connects with that message, shares their story, or realizes they aren’t alone? That’s what makes this work matter.
The part you don’t always see
There have been some incredible moments this year. There have also been challenges, lessons, long nights, and plenty of figuring things out as I go.
Building a business doesn’t mean having every answer. Sometimes it means taking the next step with what you have, learning from what didn’t work, and showing up again.
I’m still learning. I’m still building. And I wouldn’t trade the experience.
You’ve been part of this first year
If you purchased something, shared a post, invited me to speak, collaborated with me, offered advice, prayed for me, or simply encouraged me along the way, thank you.
Every one of those things mattered. Not just the purchases. The encouragement. The introductions. The conversations. The people who believed in the message and helped it reach someone else.
You’ve all played a part in this first year, and I don’t take that lightly.
From W23 to SEEN by W23
Today, W23 has grown into SEEN by W23. Through SEEN Movement, we’re doing more than selling clothing. We’re creating opportunities for people to connect, have meaningful conversations, and know that their stories matter.
The heart of it is simple: You Were Never Invisible.
You don’t have to earn the right to matter. You don’t have to have everything figured out before your story is worth hearing. That’s the message we’re carrying forward.
One year down. Still building.
There’s so much more ahead. More learning. More conversations. More opportunities to bring people together.
But today, I want to pause and be grateful for this first year and everyone who has been part of it.
Thank You, God. And thank you for being here.
A look back at our first year
Wear the message. Carry it forward.
If this message means something to you, make it part of your everyday life. Let what you wear remind you of who you are and open the door to a conversation someone else might need.
