Day 5 Bonus | John Chaney — What Does Being SEEN Mean to You?
DAY 5 | BONUS
Next up is John Chaney.
Founder of the Winchester-Clark County Entrepreneurial Academy. A man who has dedicated himself to building up the next generation of builders, dreamers, and doers.
I asked John the same question I've been asking everyone in this series.
What does being SEEN mean to you?
▶ Watch: John Chaney | What Does Being SEEN Mean to You?
For John, being SEEN is about transparency.
Being able to show up as yourself without fear of being judged.
Simple. But powerful.
That word — transparency — hits different when you think about how many people spend their entire lives doing the opposite. Curating. Performing. Managing the perception. Making sure the version of themselves that shows up in every room is acceptable, impressive, safe.
John is building an academy that tells young entrepreneurs they don't have to do that. That showing up as yourself is not a liability — it's a foundation.
You can't build something real from a fake starting point.
I appreciate John for adding his voice to this conversation.
Every person who answers this question brings something the series didn't have before. John brought transparency. And in a world that rewards polish and punishes vulnerability, that answer matters.
SEEN. Equipped. Empowered. Needed.
