Day 6 | Jo Ann Lofton — What Does Being SEEN Mean to You?
DAY 6 | WHAT DOES BEING SEEN MEAN TO YOU?
This one is special to me.
Next up is my Momma, Jo Ann Lofton.
I asked her the same question I’ve been asking everyone:
“What does being SEEN mean to you?”
She took it straight to the heart of the message.
She broke down what SEEN means — Seen. Equipped. Empowered. Needed — and made it her own.
That’s what a mother does. She takes what you built and reminds you why you built it.
Hearing my Momma speak on something that grew out of my own journey just hits different.
I didn’t hand her a script. I didn’t coach her answer. I just asked the question.
And she showed up the way she always has — with faith, clarity, and love.
There’s something powerful about the person who knew you before the movement, before the book, before the record, before any of it — and watching her speak to what SEEN stands for like she’s carried it too.
Because she has. In her own way. For a long time.
I appreciate you, Momma. For this. For everything.
SEEN. Equipped. Empowered. Needed.
