What Does the Cover Say to You?

Last week, I asked one simple question.

"When you see this cover, what does it say to you?"

I wasn't expecting the depth of your responses.

Some of you saw freedom.
Some saw healing.
Some saw breaking free from the masks we wear.

One person shared, "What are you hiding behind the masks? It's time to reveal the real you."

Another wrote, "I see darkness turning to light and freedom."

Someone else reminded me, "God is the One who sees."

And one comment I'll never forget said, "This is going to be a challenging message that encourages us to keep moving forward."

SEEN Was Never Meant to Be Just My Story

Reading your words reminded me of something I've known since the beginning of this journey.

SEEN was never meant to be just my story.

It's about creating a space where people can be honest about the masks they've worn, the battles they've fought, and the freedom they're still believing for.

That's why this book matters to me.

Not because it's another book.

Because I believe someone will finally realize they're not alone.

The Mask We All Wear

We've all worn one. Some of us have been wearing the same mask for so long we've forgotten what our real face looks like.

The mask of performance. The mask of strength. The mask of "I'm fine."

We wear them to survive. We wear them to belong. We wear them because somewhere along the way, we decided the real us wasn't enough to be seen.

But here's what I've learned: you can't be truly known while hiding behind a mask.

And you can't be truly free either.

Identity Before Performance

The SEEN Movement was built on one core truth — identity before performance.

Before the title. Before the achievement. Before the applause.

You were already seen. Already known. Already enough.

God never asked you to perform your way into worth. He sees the person behind the mask — the real one, the unpolished one, the one still healing.

That's the message of this book. That's the message of this movement.
